Summer plans: Bergen, Norway in a little cabin with Mort and Alicia. Death metal!
Then off to Stockholm, Sweden to crash at my sister's apartment. Clogs! Cheese in tubes! Cracker bread! Family!
Then taking my nephews to London and show off my old haunts and eat cream tea.

+ Everyone is so nice!
+ Most helpful professional development ever!
+ 10 minute BART ride!
+ I get a supply budget!
+ Downtown bells chiming at lunch!
+ Getting up an hour later than I did when getting ready for EPA!
+ Was given a brand new MAC Book to work on!
+ School in an old car dealership isn't so bad...It is quite charming. Especially since I got a room with windows.
+ An actual field trip budget!
+ Crema coffee in the Tribune building!
+ School colors: yellow and green. We have baseball tees.

Today was good.
Brunch with Herbinson and Murphy.
A little work teaching art to some 2nd/3rd graders/sewing to some 4th graders.
A Target run.
BBQ at Murphy's.
Then Murphy came over for an epic long session of Rock Band.
Perfect.

Yes, I was in a terrible car accident. BUT! I am doing really well now. NO longer walking like a robot. The bruises have faded.
Also, I resigned from my school in East Palo Alto and am starting at a lovely little school in downtown Oakland in the fall. Whoop! I think this will be a very good move for me.
Two boys are moving in with me this week. Exciting! One is a professional cook and the other brews beer. We went out for dinner the other night and ate intestine. It was interesting. I could only stomach half a piece.
Game night tonight boys and girls. Get your game face on.

This weekend I....
1. Spent the night at the Four Seasons East Palo Alto for free....
3 second grade teachers + snuck in booze, pizza and snacks +jacuzzi on the roof ='s good time.
2. Exploratorium. Crissy Field. With a boy.
3. Two and half hours of Guitar Hero with Greg.
4. Haight Street, pub lunch with Matt.
5. Be Kind Rewind. With a boy.
6. Boogaloos Brunch on my day off (Cesar Chavez day!) with the Original carpool.
7. San Francisco Zoo. Fort Bragg for hang gliding watching. Park Chow. With a boy.
Tomorrow: A's home opener. Sweet.
Hey, New York! Coming at cha' in 4 days. Be ready. Yeow!
Planned: Coney Island with Adam. Upstate train ride to visit Marcie. Gania hugging. Museums with Finn? Dinner with Jarron. Grasshopper pie making/Broooklyn hanging with Adam. Possible baseball game.

This afternoon I drove up to San Francisco from work and met Kate at Dolores Park. We drank 20 oz Fosters and sat in the sunshine with our hoodies pulled over our heads. Then we got burritos at El Toro. Perfect.
